BASF Solar ^{Clean Energy}

Huen Electric performed the electrical installation at the BASF superfund site in Toms River, New Jersey. The project covered 150 acres and interconnected to the utility at 35kV. The site was a blended ballasted and post-driven racking solution to support 70,200 photovoltaic modules. Huen crews also installed eight HEMK central inverter skids on custom equipment pads utilizing vaults to capture any transformer oil in the event of a leak. Certain sections of the project had limited ground pressure tolerance, which required our crews to install specific crane mats to facilitate all rigging and equipment-setting tasks. This project was completed on schedule during the COVID-19 pandemic.
